Love is written in the stars!
(from the series “My Mystical, Magical Life”)

I was a child when it happened. In the dream, I was tumbling through a sky full of stars — weightless, free, as though the whole universe were breathing me in. Out of the glittering dark, a name appeared, clear as day: Hickox.
It meant nothing to me.
I didn’t know anyone by that name.
Still, it imprinted itself in my heart like stardust.
I didn’t think about that dream again for many years — not until the day I met Terry.
💫 The Moment That Changed Everything
From the moment we met, something about him felt familiar. The kind of recognition that isn’t logical — it’s cellular.
When he finally called and asked me out, I was at work. I remember hanging up the phone, smiling to myself, and saying out loud (to an empty room, thank goodness!
“That’s the man I’m going to marry.”
I knew it before the first date.
A year later, we were married.
And here we are — 43 years strong.
🌙 The Universe Has a Sense of Humor
It wasn’t until after we married that the dream from childhood came flooding back — the tumbling stars, the name that had shimmered across my mind: Hickox.
All those years later, the message made sense.
Sometimes Spirit gives us hints long before we can understand them — breadcrumbs of destiny dropped along the path. We might not recognize their meaning until we’re living it, years later, when everything clicks into place with that quiet, cosmic humor the Universe seems to love.
That dream was a promise — a reminder that love stories often begin in the stars before they unfold on Earth.
💫 In the next story, I’ll share how dreams became my earliest teachers — even showing me things that hadn’t yet happened.
Have you ever had a dream or a sign that didn’t make sense until years later?
I’d love to hear your story in the comments.
