We all live a mythic life.

Perhaps not on the scale of the great gods and goddesses of ancient Greece and Rome, yet each of us embodies archetypal stories that shape how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world.

Myths are the language of the soul.

The experiences that become the stories of our lives often reflect our soul’s deepest longing for growth, meaning, experience, and evolution.

Whether we recognize them or not, these stories are always present. They live within the patterns we repeat, the choices we make, the challenges we face, and the identities we carry.

But what happens when we become conscious of the myths we are living?

What if we could recognize the stories that have shaped us and choose, with intention, which stories we wish to carry forward?

Could we become active participants in our lives rather than passive characters in inherited narratives?

Could we become the navigator instead of simply following the map?

These are the questions I want to explore through Myth & Soul—a space devoted to the intersection of mythology, astrology, archetype, consciousness, and the stories that shape our lives.

Together, we’ll explore how ancient myths continue to live through us, and how bringing them into awareness may help us step more fully into the highest expression of who we are becoming.

Many of these explorations first take shape in my Substack essays, where I write as ideas unfold and invite readers into the conversation.

Why does Myth & Soul exist?

Myth & Soul exists to explore the stories that shape our lives.

From ancient myths and astrological archetypes to the unconscious narratives we inherit from family, culture, and history, stories influence how we see ourselves and what we believe is possible.

Yet many of these stories were created for a different time.

Through Myth & Soul, I explore mythology, astrology, archetype, and the Divine Feminine as living forces that continue to shape human experience. Together, we’ll revisit old stories, recover forgotten wisdom, and ask how these myths might be reimagined for the world we are becoming.

At its heart, Myth & Soul is an invitation to participate consciously in your own evolution—to recognize the stories you have inherited, question the ones that no longer serve, and choose the ones that help you become more fully yourself.

When we become conscious of the myths we are living, we gain the power to choose the stories we wish to carry forward.

The Founding Story of Myth & Soul (5 min)

The Founding Story of Myth & Soul

Myth & Soul was born from a question.

A question that arrived at a time when I was seriously considering walking away from astrology.

Before continuing, I want to be clear: what follows is not meant as a political statement. Instead, the election acted as a turning point, prompting a much deeper realization.

The day after the 2024 U.S. presidential election, I felt profoundly disillusioned. I had believed we were moving toward a more balanced expression—one honoring both the Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. Yet, as I reflected, disappointment lingered. My hopes for balance felt dashed.

In that moment, rather than witnessing an emergence of balance, it seemed as if society was repeating a familiar pattern.

What unsettled me most was not the outcome itself.

It was what the outcome seemed to reveal.

At a moment when I believed we were being invited into a new story, we reached once again for a familiar archetype.

Not necessarily because it was better.

Not necessarily because it was wiser.

But because it was known.

That realization—that we default to what is known rather than what is possible—stopped me in my tracks and redirected my questioning.

Perhaps the challenge was not political at all.

Perhaps it was mythological.

What if we keep recreating the same patterns because we keep telling the same stories?

What if our myths shape the boundaries of what we believe is possible?

And if that is true, what stories are missing?

What voices have been diminished, forgotten, or pushed to the margins?

Despite my years working with astrological archetypes and mythological symbolism, this experience led me to question something I had never fully examined before.

The traditional astrological landscape offers only two widely recognized feminine planetary archetypes: the Moon and Venus.

Additional feminine figures, such as Ceres, Sedna, Eris, and Black Moon Lilith, have gradually entered astrology, expanding the symbolic landscape.

Yet these figures often remain at the periphery of mainstream astrological practice. The feminine is present, but she is not yet fully participating in the story. The primary framework continues to rely on a pantheon dominated by masculine archetypes.

The question that emerged for me was not whether feminine archetypes existed.

They clearly do.

The deeper question was whether they had been given equal space within the story.

Where are the feminine expressions of leadership, sovereignty, wisdom, innovation, creation, and spiritual authority?

What possibilities become available when the feminine is no longer treated as a supporting character, but as a full participant in the unfolding myth of humanity?

Those questions became the seed of Myth & Soul. Not because I believe we should discard the wisdom of the past or that the Divine Masculine should be diminished.

But because I believe the story has always been larger than the version we inherited.

Myth & Soul is an exploration of that larger story.

Stories shape cultures.

They shape civilizations.

They shape what we believe is possible.

The myths we inherit become the lens through which we understand ourselves and our place in the world.

If our stories evolve, perhaps our future can evolve with them. And perhaps that evolution begins by asking better questions.

Together, we’ll explore mythology, astrology, archetype, consciousness, and the stories that shape our lives. We’ll revisit ancient myths, recover forgotten wisdom, and ask how these stories might evolve to reflect the world we are becoming.

How do we become conscious participants in the stories that shape us?

How do we honor the traditions we have inherited while allowing new stories to emerge?

How do we create a mythology spacious enough to hold the fullness of both the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine?

And what becomes possible when we do?
