Karen’s book is fantastic for a beginner – especially relevant for Human Design Training Level 1 as she does a fabulous job on Type, Strategy, and Authority.

Although this book is a little more technical than the previous two, it is definitely a good resource for in-depth Human Design information.
This book can be very useful as you become more involved with learning Human Design.

The 64 Gates
64 Gates make up your Human Design. Each Gate has a deeper meaning than what a simple table expresses, but one of my favorite resources is from a list created by Karen Curry Parker. The definition of each Gate, the repressed expression of its shadow, and the rebellious form of its shadow are listed as well. The list gives you a working knowledge of what energy exists in each of the Gates.

The 64 Gene Keys
In the Gene Keys, Richard Rudd talks about the Human Design Gates in dimensional language. The energy of each Gate is arranged in Shadow, Gift, and Siddhi (a Sanskrit word meaning highest level achievable). Through his work, we can see the depth of our human expression.
While the Gene Keys book has great information, it is not meant to be read cover to cover in the usual way. Gene Keys is more a contemplation and taking your time reading it is encouraged.
