Today on Living Astrology, we’re slowing down for a special Tea With Venus conversation about love, relationships, self-worth, desire, money, and the sacred agreements we make with ourselves and one another. What is Venus bringing back into view? What patterns or questions are beginning to reappear—and how can we meet them with curiosity rather than rushing to find answers?
We’ll also explore the new Human Design week beginning September 4, as the Sun enters Gate 64—Divine Transference and the Earth moves into Gate 63—Curiosity. Together, these gates invite us to sit with the fragments of the past, question what we think we know, and allow a new understanding to reveal itself in its own time.

8-31-26 The Agreements We Carry Into September ...
September doesn’t begin with a rush forward—it begins with a review.
Today, Venus enters the pre-shadow of her upcoming retrograde, opening a longer conversation about relationships, self-worth, money, desire, and the agreements that shape our lives. What is already beginning to surface that we may be asked to reconsider more deeply in the weeks ahead?
Meanwhile, the Sun in Human Design Gate 40—Restoration and the Earth in Gate 37—Peace complete the 40–37 Channel, highlighting the delicate balance between work and rest, giving and receiving, independence and belonging. This energy asks us to notice whether the bargains and commitments holding our families, relationships, and communities together are genuinely reciprocal.
With Pluto now traveling out of bounds, the deeper forces of power, transformation, and truth may no longer remain neatly contained. What has been operating beneath the surface could become harder to ignore.
And then—the heavens grow quiet. With no major new transits for three days, we are given a meaningful pause before Friday begins a new Human Design week.
8-24-26 Lunar Eclipse of Faith: Trust What is Being Revealed
This week, a powerful Pisces Full Moon arrives as a deep partial lunar eclipse—placing the Moon and Earth in Human Design Gate 55: Faith.
But first, Mercury returns home to Virgo, carrying a message from the Well-Worn Path.
On Thursday, Mercury enters the heart of the Sun, bringing a moment of illumination just as the eclipse begins to unfold. What is becoming clear? What old story is losing its hold? And can we trust what is being revealed, even if we cannot yet see where it will lead?
Join me as we explore the Virgo–Pisces eclipse axis through Astrology, Human Design, the Gene Keys, and the evolving story of the Sovereign Self.
8-21-26 The Sacred Work of Becoming Whole
What if your worth is not something you must prove—but something you are being asked to embody?
On Friday, Venus in Libra, the Guardian of Self-Worth, opposes Saturn in Aries, the Master Teacher. This encounter may reveal where we have measured our value through approval, relationship, achievement, or the expectations of others—and where it is time to stand more firmly within ourselves.
Then the Sun enters Virgo, inviting the Sovereign Self into the sacred landscape of Kore: the one who belongs wholly to herself. Virgo’s deeper calling is not perfection, but wholeness—the patient and discerning work of bringing our lives into alignment with what is true.
On Sunday, a new Human Design week begins with the Sun in Gate 59–Sustainability and the Earth in Gate 55–Faith, while Neptune, the Mystic, enters Gate 25–Spirit.
Together, these movements ask a profound question: What sustains the Sovereign Self when certainty is no longer available—and faith must become a lived experience?
8-3-26 The Story We Carry into the Eclipse
What story are you carrying into the coming solar eclipse—and is it still capable of guiding the future you want to create?
This week begins with Chiron turning retrograde in Taurus in Human Design Gate 3, the Gate of Innovation. Through the Gene Keys, Gate 3 carries us from Chaos to Innovation and ultimately Innocence. Chiron’s retrograde invites us to revisit the places where change once felt destabilizing, where life seemed to happen to us, and where the disruption itself may still hold an unrealized gift.
On Tuesday, Jupiter enters Gate 33—Retelling—first joining and then replacing the Sun there. Gate 33 asks us to step back, reflect, and decide what our experiences have come to mean. Through the Gene Keys, its journey from Forgetting to Mindfulness to Revelation reminds us that retelling the past is not the same as repeating it. We can remember differently because we understand differently now.
Then a new Human Design week begins with the Sun in Gate 7, Collaboration and Guidance, and the Earth in Gate 13, Narrative and the Listener. The stories we have gathered are no longer ours alone. They become the wisdom through which we listen, collaborate, and help guide what comes next.
With the August 12 solar eclipse approaching, this is a week of preparation.
7-31-2026 August Eclipses: A New Story is Emerging
August arrives as an eclipse month—and the story is beginning to change.
On August 12, a Solar Eclipse in Leo invites us to reconsider how we have sought recognition, expressed our creativity, and offered ourselves to the world.
Then, on August 28, a Lunar Eclipse in Pisces brings us into deeper waters, illuminating what is ready to be released, surrendered, or returned to the greater whole.
Between these two eclipses, August becomes a threshold: a passage between the story we have been living and the one that is quietly emerging.
The month begins with a new Human Design week as the Sun enters Gate 33—Retelling—and the Earth enters Gate 19—Attunement. Gate 33 asks us to step back and gather the wisdom of what we have already experienced. Gate 19 grounds us through sensitivity, presence, and our ability to listen for what is truly needed.
Perhaps we aren’t meant to rush into August demanding to know what will happen. Perhaps we are being asked to pause, listen, and recognize how the story is already changing.
