Myth & Soul - Tea With the Planets

Tea With the Planets

Conversations with the Living Cosmos

Pull up a chair. Pour yourself a cup of tea. The conversation is just beginning.

For thousands of years, humanity has looked to the heavens and told stories.

The Greeks gave us Apollo and Aphrodite. The Egyptians looked to Ra and Isis. The Japanese honored Amaterasu. Indigenous peoples around the world found their own sacred stories written across the sky. Every culture has listened to the cosmos and discovered something of itself reflected there.

But no single story tells the whole truth.

Each myth reveals one facet of a timeless archetype. Each reflects the wisdom, questions, and worldview of the people who first imagined it.

Tea With the Planets is an invitation to continue that ancient conversation.

Together, we’ll explore the living archetypes behind the planets—not only through astrology, but through mythology, psychology, Human Design, the Gene Keys, history, and the questions that shape our lives today.

Rather than asking, “What does this planet mean?” we’ll ask deeper questions.

  • What essential human capacity does this archetype represent?
  • How have different cultures understood it?
  • What belongs to the timeless archetype, and what belongs to the culture that expressed it?
  • What wisdom still speaks to us today?
  • And what new stories might our own time be called to tell?

Some conversations may begin with an ancient myth.

Others may begin with a current planetary transit, a symbol from Human Design, or an unexpected question arising in everyday life.

There is no final destination.

Only an ever-deepening relationship with the living cosmos.

This is not a place to memorize astrology.

It is a place to cultivate wonder.

To question inherited stories.

To discover the archetypes living within you.

And to join a conversation that humanity has been having with the heavens since the beginning of time.

So pour yourself a cup of tea.

There’s always a place for you at the table.

Myth & Soul - Tea With the Sun image

When We Stopped Seeing the Sun as a King

For centuries, we’ve been told that the Sun is the King.

In astrology, the Sun has long been associated with rulers, monarchs, heroes, patriarchs, and the lion-hearted majesty of Leo. The image feels so familiar that most of us have never stopped to question it.

But what if that image tells us as much about the societies that created those stories as it does about the Sun itself?

Kings belong to kingdoms.

Patriarchs belong to particular social systems.

Heroes belong to the stories that gave them birth.

The Sun belongs to everyone.
